Welcome to DCJOE.net, My home on the internet. I'm Joe and Washington DC is my home of 6 years. I'm a firefighter/paramedic here with DCFD.



I earned my Bachelors Of Music, Music Education with a concentration on saxophone from the University of Delaware in 2001. I earned my Paramedic Certification from the Albert Einstien Medical Center in Philadelphia in 2002. Currently I'm pursuing my Masters in Emergency Management at George Washington University.





It doesn't stop there though, I teach for a few companies including:
SiTEL (The Simulation and Training Environment Lab at Washington Hospital center), Continuing Health LLC (at Georgetown University), and Open INC--creators of Safety Pad.

I also enjoy umpiring Rec Ball and High School JV and Varsity Baseball Games in the NOVA, DC, and MD area with Mid Atlantic Officals.

Many hours are spent with the best all Service Pipe Band, DCFD Emerald Society Pipe Band. A great extension of the Fire Service Family and I think we put on a pretty good show too.

In my spare time I enjoy learning more about my Nikon D90 and taking better pics!
